Webtrends, the global leader in digital intelligence, today announced the extension of its relationship with Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) as a Preferred Analytics solution for SharePoint, now supporting SharePoint Server 2013 and SharePoint Online within Office 365. Webtrends for SharePoint enables customers to gain deep and actionable insights from any SharePoint site with a depth and flexibility of reporting that effectively serves the disparate needs of SharePoint users globally across many different types of SharePoint initiatives.
In addition, this new solution delivers an automated means of site instrumentation that captures detailed data to deliver usage, content and collaboration insights by user, department, supervisor, geography and more. The robust data collection and reporting is easy to deploy and requires little effort to use and understand.
“Microsoft continues to support our relationship with Webtrends as a Preferred Analytics Solution for SharePoint, including SharePoint Online within Office 365. With the emerging social enterprise and the ever-increasing need to measure collaboration throughout the organization, Webtrends provides an effective measurement platform for SharePoint customers worldwide,” said Jared Spataro, senior director, Microsoft Office Division and leader of the SharePoint business worldwide.
“With our continued focus on delivering cloud solutions to measure and optimize enterprise collaboration, we are very pleased to extend our relationship with Microsoft as a Preferred Analytics Solution for SharePoint," said Alex Yoder, CEO of Webtrends. “Our enterprise customers continue to leverage SharePoint to improve business productivity and social collaboration, and Webtrends delivers critical measurement of its effectiveness in delivering true business value.”
In July 2012, Webtrends announced an integrated analytics solution for SharePoint 2010 built on the innovative Webtrends Analytics 10 platform. Since the initial launch, Webtrends has approximately 150 new clients using its SharePoint solution, such as Altria, a.s.r., Avanade, Cricket Wireless, Lloyd’s and Technicolor.
"a.s.r. has chosen Webtrends as the standard to measure and optimize the usage of our customer-facing SharePoint portals," said Martijn Krull, Delivery Manager at a.s.r., a major insurance company based in the Netherlands. "Not only does Webtrends provide the most comprehensive analytics solution available for SharePoint, the ability to profile and segment visitors, test content across multiple segments and deliver in-session behavioral targeting is what will move us beyond measurement and further into optimization."
Set up and installation of Webtrends Analytics is done within SharePoint administration and is compatible with SharePoint Server 2013, SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint Online – whether intranet, extranet or internet site.
