Joe Davis, CEO
As Chief Executive Officer of Webtrends, Joe Davis leads the company’s business strategy and worldwide operations. Bringing more than 25 years of technology experience, Joe is well established at spearheading growth and innovation in the digital marketing and web analytics space. He made a notable mark in the industry as Chief Executive Officer of Coremetrics where his vision built Coremetrics into a leader in cloud-based software for web, social and mobile marketing while growing revenues over 10x before the company was acquired by IBM in 2010.
Most recently, Joe was the Chief Executive Officer of Tocata, a technology company specializing in mobile ecommerce. Prior to his time at Coremetrics, Joe led worldwide development, strategy, marketing and customer support operations for the CRM business arm within PeopleSoft, and was president of the Nortel Networks eBusiness division.
Joe earned his MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and holds a B.S. and M.S. in Applied Mechanics from the University of California, San Diego.
Nick Sharp, VP and General Manager, EMEA
As Vice President and General Manager of EMEA, Nick is responsible for Webtrends EMEA and Australasia strategy and day-to-day operations, including sales and marketing as well as technical support, training, implementation and business consulting services. Prior to being named General Manager, Nick served as Webtrends Vice President of EMEA Sales and Marketing for several years. In this role, he led EMEA’s most experienced sales and marketing teams in the web analytics industry, developing deep industry expertise across key markets and building strategic relationships with many of the region’s leading clients.
Nick has 18 years experience in established and start-up technology organizations and was EMEA Sales Director at InfoLibria Inc., where he was responsible for defining, developing and executing sales strategies. Nick was also Group Sales Director at Tricom Communications and has held positions at Riversoft, Micom and CASE Communications. He has a BSc in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Loughborough University, UK.
Abed Farhan, SVP of N.A. Sales and WW Business Development
As Senior Vice President of North American Sales and Worldwide Business Development and Partnerships, Abed is responsible for driving growth and customer success, as well as developing strategic alliances for Webtrends. Abed brings to his role more than 20 years of sales and business development experience in the software industry.
Prior to joining Webtrends, Abed held several sales and business development executive positions, most recently with Serena Software, where he led the company's partner strategy and expanded partnership agreements to fuel revenue growth for the mashup exchange for business platform. Prior to Serena, Abed was responsible for the execution of strategic partnership strategies and for Frost & Sullivan award-winning Retail Broadband Alliance at Earthlink. He also served as vice president at Telemedia International and Global Telecom.
Abed's entrepreneurial mindset and cross-functional leadership roles in diverse international technology business sectors consistently results in mergers and acquisitions and hyper-growth business. He actively contributes to startups and global initiatives.
Jeff Seacrist, VP of Product Management
As Vice President of Product Management, Jeff is focused on strategic product management, including market analysis, product roadmap, competitive intelligence, partner solutions, and market differentiation. The product management team ensures that the product and platform strategies meet customer requirements and have a profitable position within the marketplace.
Currently on his second stint at Webtrends, Jeff is one of the early innovators and leaders in the web analytics industry. In 2000, he launched the first cloud business at Webtrends, and was instrumental in shifting the web analytics industry from its early IT-oriented approach to the business-focused solution that it is today.
Jeff has also led new product development initiatives for Dex Online – spearheading early online advertising solutions for local businesses, and led marketing and product management at Aisle7, developing technology-based shopper marketing programs for retailers. Jeff holds an MBA from the University of Minnesota and a BA from Augsburg College.
Kathy Stromberg, VP of Marketing
As Vice President of Marketing, Kathy is responsible for all marketing activities at Webtrends encompassing the areas of corporate, product and demand generation. She’s focused on developing and executing marketing and communications strategy to support business growth while enhancing brand equity and awareness.
Kathy brings more than 30 years of marketing and communications experience to Webtrends, most recently working as the Vice President of Residential Business for PECI, an Oregon-based nonprofit focusing on energy efficiency solutions for the residential sector.
She has a long history in marketing at Hewlett-Packard, holding various marketing positions, representing HP’s hardware and services product lines in both domestic and international environments. Throughout her career, Kathy has been instrumental in identifying emerging and new market opportunities for handhelds, all-in-one devices, home inkjet printers and internet products and services. Throughout her career she has been a champion for creating exceptional experiences for her customers using data-driven insights. She’s also passionate about building high-performance teams through collaboration.
Kathy holds a B.S. degree from Oregon State University.
Greg Washburn, VP of Engineering
As Vice President of Engineering, Greg oversees the development and quality of our products as well as the innovative science, technology and architecture upon which they are built. Previously, Greg led the development and quality teams for the Webtrends measurement platform.
Greg has remained focused on data-centric systems for more than 15 years, bringing insight to data across a variety of industry verticals including telecommunications, finance and health care. Greg has also served in a variety of management and technical roles including developer, architect and consultant at companies such as Level 3 Communications and Sequent Computer Systems.
Greg holds a M.S. and Ph.D. in computer science from University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a B.S. in math and computer science from Eckerd College.
Jim Patrice, VP of Customer Services and Support
As Vice President of Customer Services and Support, Jim brings to Webtrends more than 30 years of experience in building, designing and leading successful service organizations. Jim is a thought leader in customer success, operational excellence and service management. He was most recently a Group Partner with ServTrans, a boutique consulting firm committed to helping companies create business value through services. While with ServTrans, Jim specialized in service organizational transformations driven by a philosophy of customer success.
Previously, Jim was Sr. Vice President of Customer Support for Oracle where he led an organization of over 7,500 people supporting more than 200,000 global customers. In this role, Jim led the integration of support services for well over 50 company acquisitions. Prior to Oracle, Jim held executive management positions at PeopleSoft, Aspect Communications, SGI, ESI and Digital Equipment Corporation.
Jim is a past member of several educational advisory boards including the Center for Services Leadership, WP Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. He is a past recipient of the AFSMI Professionalism in Services Management Award.
